Our Mission Volunteers come from everywhere! The Mission has expanded to include students from numerous high schools and colleges, and a widely diverse group of good-willed adults. High school and college students form about half the group, while the other half is comprised of medical, educational, technical, environmental, and business developmental professionals. The Mission continues to grow and needs volunteers in all areas. Whether you're interested in traveling to Nicaragua or prefer to work at home, we encourage you to get involved. Working together we can make a difference!
"As the traveler who has once been from home is wiser than he who has never left his own doorstep, so a knowledge of one other culture should sharpen our ability... to appreciate more lovingly our own."
~ Margaret Mead, Coming of Age in Samoa
