Health & Hygiene Bags

One of our Mission of Hope projects is preparing and distributing hygiene/healthcare products to the families in Nicaragua at our Health Fairs and when teams go on Medical Outreach. We believe that one of the best ways to establish a preventive healthcare program is to assist in providing the very basic hygiene items.

Below, you will find a list of several items. We ask you to prepare a gallon-size self-closing plastic bag with these items and donate them to the Mission of Hope. We will then distribute them as part of our healthcare outreach or health fair programs in Nicaragua.

Items needed:

Gallon-size plastic bags
Toothpaste
Toothbrush
Soap
Wash cloth and/or small hand towel
Antibacterial hand sanitizer
Deodorant
Combs
Shampoo
Vitamins for adult and/or children
Tylenol or Advil OTC pain medicines for adult and children
Antibacterial creams or ointments
Band aids
Lip balm
Antacids
Q-tips

We ask that you bring any donations to our warehouse at 125 Sharron Avenue, Plattsburgh NY 12901 on Wednesdays between 10am and Noon. Or, you can mail/ship them to us at: North Country Mission of Hope, 206 New York Road, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.If you wish, you may put a photo of you and/or your family as the donor of the package.
