For our First Responder Program - We now have 33 persons in the villages who we call “First Responders”. They have been trained in Red Cross First Aid and in addition to being able to respond in an emergency, they also have the capability to assess blood pressure and perform glucose monitoring.
These 33 people see approximately 20 of their friends and neighbors each month. They see a variety of conditions, from small cuts and burns to more serious health problems. We are in need of supplies so they can continue this important work.
