Panama City Disaster Relief Collection

Dear Mission of Hope family,

Since we have finalized all the necessary aspects of a delivery of urgent disaster items to Panama City, we now need your assistance in spreading the word ASAP.

Attached is a special flyer with all details and a list of the items we will be accepting.

We want to especially thank Joshua Spiegel and TransBorder Global Freight Systems out of Latham, NY for donating the funds for us to secure a large 26 foot truck.  Thanks also to Ron Charette for coordinating our efforts with Ryder out of Williston, Vt. and to Rob Bashaw and Jim Fezette who have agreed to deliver the truck.  Special thanks to all of MOHtown volunteers who will staff the drop off times, and load the truck.

We are networking with Fr. Luke, Fr. Mike and seminarian Richard Graham from St. Dominic’s Parish in Panama City, who will insure the items get to those in greatest need..and take some photos!

We start collecting this Saturday from 9-noon.

See flyer for all other days and times as well as what we will accept.

Delivery Truck leaves here on Nov. 1, and will arrive in Panama City on Nov. 2nd.  FTI:  St. Dominic’s has a wealth of knowledge about the most marginalized and poor as well as a network to facilitate a triage of need and distribution.

Questions:  Call my NEW CELL or our office.

Please feel free to forward this list and also to print out and post wherever you can.

Why are we doing this? …… Because we can and because we always do what we can, where we can, when we can

See attached!  We need to fill a truck so “let’s get to it!”

Live and be HOPE today and everyday.

Thank you.
