The North Country Mission of Hope is committed to assisting children who face extreme hunger, both in the United States and in Nicaragua. We know that many here in the North Country are struggling amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, along with our Nicaraguan brothers and sisters.  The support our golf tournament provides is needed more now than ever.  With your help, the North Country Mission of Hope has been able to help the poorest of the poor in Nicaragua, and has assisted with disaster recovery, both in the United States and globally. The restrictions put in place to slow down and contain the Covid-19 virus, have shut down the food supply chain to the most marginalized people in the world. The UN estimates that 14 million people in Latin American will face extreme hunger due to this pandemic.

Yet, there is hope! Our 16th annual MOH Golf Classic is scheduled for August 14, 2020 at the Barracks Country Club. This is our largest fundraising event with all proceeds benefitting the North Country Mission of Hope’s Feeding Program.

We ask you to support this event through sponsorship at one of the following levels:

• Platinum: $500 (includes golf for two two-person teams, name on the sponsorship sign, and special edition of the Mission of Hope Photo Book.)
• Golf: $350 (includes golf for two two-person teams and name on the sponsorship sign.)
• Silver: $200 (included golf for one two-person team and name on the sponsorship sign.)
• Bronze: $100 (sign on the sponsorship sign.)
• Friend to the Mission: $50.

We also invite you all to play in the golf tournament. In previous years, tee times completely sold out, so if you plan on playing PLEASE register early. It is a fun, stress-free day, with prizes and raffles, along with a meal, provided by McSweeney’s Red Hots and the Barracks.

Please be assured that we are working with the Barracks and McSweeneys to provide an enjoyable but safe event.  We will let you know about any changes to the format as we finalize them.
