Mission 78 Day Two

We all had our first day in the field today, with each team making very good progress on repairs at their respective work sites.

All three sites tackled similar projects: plumbing, trim work, flooring, door hanging, and more.

What’s unique for this group is that all three have been able to meet and speak with their host family.

Brayden, Rob, Doug, and Tom all spoke about spending time with the homeowners and their appreciation for hearing their stories.

This opened a conversation about the true value of a mission experience—the chance to move beyond our comfort zones, open ourselves to new experiences and relationships, and bring hope to those we serve while answering the inner call to serve others.

All but a few have filtered off to bed to rest up for another long, hot, and life-changing day
