Annual Meeting
The Mission of Hope annual meeting will take place at the Sister Debbie Blow operations center and warehouse, located at 3452 NYS Rt. 22 in Peru, NY 12972, on November 19th @ 6:00 pm. . If you're not able to attend in person, a Zoom link will be available just before the meeting. I've attached bios of the candidates. Opportunity Through Education
This week, we received photos of Helena Daniela Lopez Velasquez from Magaly. Helene is a former student in our education Sponsorship Program. She has now graduated from university and is a Doctor of Ophthalmology. She was at our facility to conduct an eye exam on behalf of Munkel, the company she works for. Shipment on it's way to Appalachia
Today, we sent a 53' tractor trailer to the Christian Appalachian Project. This wonderful organization is based out of Eastern Kentucky but services all of the Appalachia areas in the North and Southeastern United States, including areas hard hit by Hurricane Helene. Today's shipment consisted of sporting goods, home medical equipment, school supplies, home essentials, shoes, clothing and more. The donated goods sent will distributed throughout the CAP network. Press-Republican Cheers the Mission
CHEERS to the North Country Mission of Hope for their efforts to aid victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton in North Carolina and Florida. The Mission of Hope knows a thing or two about aiding hurricane victims. The humanitarian group was formed in 1998 to aid those in the Central American country of Nicaragua who were ravaged by Hurricane Mitch. Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) for Corbin, KY.
On Monday, February 12, 2024, twenty-plus Mission Volunteers, including eight students from Chateaugay Central School, loaded a 53-foot trailer with donated clothing, toys, and home medical equipment for shipment to the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) in Corbin, KY.
